September Meeting! CSWA Preparation Tips from an Expert

Welcome back students to ACC for a new semester! As usual, free food! Gathering @6pm EST, presentation will start about 6:30pm.This month's presentation will be:To Print or not to Print: Making Smart Decisions in Additive Manufacturing 3D printing offers incredible possibilities, but knowing when and how to use it effectively is critical for successful product development. In some cases, 3D printing is not the solution, even though it is tempting to use it for everything. This session guides participants through the decision-making process for additive manufacturing, exploring which parts are best suited for 3D printing, which technologies to choose, and how material selection impacts performance and cost. Using real-world examples, attendees will learn how to evaluate functional requirements, production volume, tolerances, and post-processing needs to determine the most effective approach. The session also highlights strategies for integrating 3D printing into existing workflows and design processes, helping participants make informed choices that balance innovation, efficiency, and practicality. This meeting we will be having presentation, 60 Tips in 60 Minutes, by Jazmin Ramos of Trimech! (See Blurb below!)Subs will be served @6pm. The discussion will start at 6:30.Feel free to bring examples of 3D Printed designs you have come up with for discussion. If you have a design that is being problematic feel free to bring it along so you can get comments and suggestions!If you have any dietary considerations, please RSVP and let me know.
