Cedar Rapids SOLIDWORKS Open House

This year, students are competing in the SkillsUSA Engineering Technology Design Competition through the Extreme Redesign Project. Their challenge? To rethink, enhance, or reinvent an existing concept for FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printing. Each design must showcase creativity, practicality, and functionality while pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with FDM 3D printing technology. Learn how the students used Solidworks to complete their parts and assembly designs for this project.Come support our students, ask questions, and be part of the conversation as they present their innovative designs!📅 Date: April 8th 📍 Location: Jones Hall, Room 108, 11:15 am 🍽 Food will be provided—come hungry!
