Hello Everyone

  Good news! We have scheduled another in-person user group meeting. The meeting will be on Wednesday, July 16th and start at about 6:00 pm. We will be at the same location as the last meeting. Decimal Engineering in Coral Springs will be hosting our meeting. See below for the address. The presenters will be Eric Leafquist and Sean O’Neill both from Solidworks/Dassault systems

 About the presenter: 

  Eric Leafquist  is a Senior Product Portfolio Manager at DS-SolidWorks and has been with the company since 2000. He has worked with many product areas, including SOLIDWORKS Electrical, Education/Student products, Routing , AEC/Plant applications, Sustainability, 3DCC, eDrawings, Large Assemblies, along with 3DEXPERIENCE products. He holds BSME and MBA degrees.

Eric will be doing an in person presentation on: SOLIDWORKS Routing – completing your 3D design with pipes, tubes, wires/cables. This session will introduces SOLIDWORKS Routing for piping, tubing, and electrical wiring design and how this can help you provide a more complete overall design. Tips and tricks will be provided to benefit both new and experienced users.

Sean O’Neil is a Senior Industry Process Consultant and Technical Content Director of both SOLIDWORKS LIVE and SOLIDWORKS LIVE Design, two long-running livestream programs at SOLIDWORKS that have been viewed by millions worldwide. He’s also the creator of the SOLIDWORKS Champions Program and the SOLIDWORKS Influencer Program. In addition to his current role, Sean is professionally and personally interested in Artificial Intelligence and the role it will play in the future of work. 

Sean will be doing a virtual presentation on Solidworks “Visualize”. SOLIDWORKS first released “Visualize” back in 2016. Almost 10 years later, Visualize has changed a great deal in terms of its speed, usability, and convenience for any SOLIDWORKS user looking to make stellar product imagery for product demos, websites, presentations, and much more.

We will follow up with a Q & A session with them. It should be very interesting. As always, we will start out with food and networking and finish up with door prizes. Come out and have some fun!
