First meeting for 2026 and first meeting of hopefully many at Central Community College in Hastings. This is an in-person event so only RSVP if you are seriously planning on attending. I am looking forward to seeing new and familiar faces alike.Date and Time:Tuesday, March 24th, 2026, 6:00pm – 8:00pmLocation/Business:Central Community College, Hamilton Building, AMDT ClassroomAddress:3090 E Community Dr, Hastings, NE 68901 (see map below)Agenda:6:00pm – 8:00pm:  Hamilton Building/Skilled and Technical Sciences TourThis will be the first of four scheduled meetings for 2026 that will be held at the CCC Hamilton Building.  This first meeting at the school will be a tour of the Skilled and Technical Science programs that are located at the Hamilton Building including the AMDT, Welding, and Drafting & Design programs.If time permits, we will meet back at the classroom for a discussion (ideas for meeting subject matter, places to tour, etc.), raffle, and snacks and/or drinks.We are intending on starting the tour soon after 6:00 so please be punctual.IMPORTANT!  Please RSVP by Thursday March 19th, 2026 so we can have a headcount for attendance, food, etc.Directions:From the west (Hastings) – from Showboat Blvd on the east side of Hastings head east about 1-1/2 miles east on Highway 6, turn right on to S Technical Blvd, turn right on to E Community Dr at the second turnabout intersection, head to west end of campus, and arrive at the Hamilton Building (3090 E Community Dr, Hastings, NE 68901).Park in the lot on the east side of the building, enter the east doors, about 20 feet into the hallway turn right, immediately turn right again by the photocopier, and enter the door of the AMDT classroom.  If you went into the Welding Lab you went too far.
