As with the last meeting, the main thing I would like to do is use this meeting as an introductory session for those in attendance and get an idea of what people’s expectations are.

GoEngineer had a SOLIDWORKS event at Quarry Oaks golf course on 8/25/26 and I am hoping to get a rep out to our meetings in the future.

A tour of Drake Tool is still in the works.  Wilson Case is also a possibility.

IMPORTANT!  Please RSVP by Thursday September 3rd, 2026 so we can have a headcount for attendance, food, etc.  Jimmy John’s box lunches are the current plan.

Directions:

From the west (Hastings) – from Showboat Blvd on the east side of Hastings head east about 1-1/2 miles on Highway 6, turn right on to S Technical Blvd, turn right on to E Community Dr at the second turnabout intersection, head to west end of campus, and arrive at the Hamilton Building (3090 E Community Dr, Hastings, NE 68901).

Park in the lot on the east side of the building, enter the east doors, about 20 feet into the hallway turn right, immediately turn right again by the photocopier, and enter the door of the AMDT classroom.  If you went into the Welding Lab you went too far.
