MASWUG will be hosting Marty Ohnemus from Knapheide Manufacturing on his first stop of a Wisconsin tour. Marty is the company Engineering System Administrator. He will be presenting about SOLIDWORKS PDM and the benefits it offers. SOLIDWORKS PDM (Product Data Management) is a secure data vault for managing design files and documentation. It helps engineering and manufacturing teams organize, control, and collaborate on product data across the product lifecycle. He will also be discussing how Knapheide has the most CSWE's in the world due to a robust certification program that he oversees. Come prepared w/ certification questions as well!

This meeting will also include a DriveWorks presentation from Kevin Lancaster of GSC. DriveWorks is a powerful design automation and product configuration software that integrates with SOLIDWORKS. It allows users to automate the creation of parts, assemblies, and drawings based on rules and input parameters. This is especially useful for companies that produce "same but different" products—like cabinets, enclosures, or machinery that vary by size, features, or materials.
