Please join us in-person for the next MVSWUG meeting. We will be meeting at the AMTAC (Advanced Manufacturing Technology Adoption Center), which is part of the University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI). It's located in the basement of Daniel J. Curran Place at UDRI's main office (former HQ of NCR) across from Carillon Historical Park. Please be on time to ensure that someone is available to let you into the building.
IMPORTANT: Please arrive on time to ensure building access. Park in VISITOR PARKING on the RIGHT side of the building and look for someone with badge access to greet you at the main (front lobby) entrance between 5:45-6:00 pm. After 6pm, doors will be locked and lobby unattended.

Presentation:
"Nesting with SOLIDWORKS with Cloud Services" led by Ryan Field

Ryan will go over the nesting capabilities that are part of SOLIDWORKS with Cloud Services as well as some modeling techniques for creating sheet metal parts.

As a returning presenter and frequent guest, many of you already know him, but for those who don't, Ryan Field is currently a Sr. Applications Engineer with GoEngineer. He received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and associate’s degree in Plastics Engineering Technology from Penn State Behrend. As a co-op, over 20 years ago, he was introduced to SOLIDWORKS and has been an advocate ever since. Prior to joining the SOLIDWORKS Reseller Channel in 2015, he held several engineering roles in different industries but primarily focused on machine design. He is a CSWE and SOLIDWORKS Elite AE. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with others to try and help them more efficiently get their jobs done. He currently resides near Cleveland, Ohio with his wife and two young kids.
