Presentation:
"SOLIDWORKS API for Total Beginners" led by Keith Rice

Want to automate with the SOLIDWORKS API but aren't sure where to start? As Keith walks us through the creation of a powerful macro from scratch, you'll learn about the three foundational skills of SOLIDWORKS API programming and what resources can help you achieve proficiency.

Keith Rice is the technical director at CADSharp LLC, the premiere resource for SOLIDWORKS API and SOLIDWORKS PDM API custom software development and developer training. He has written automation software for over twenty years and has presented over 25 times at 3DExperience/SOLIDWORKS World since 2010.

Keith will be joining us virtually to walk attendees through the creation of a simple macro that adds a configuration to a part and configures a hole wizard hole's diameter. Then he will create a user form by which the user could control the diameter. In doing so, Keith will demonstrate how to use the macro recorder and API Help. He will briefly cover topics like VBA programming and the API Object Model.

Please RSVP to help ensure we prepare enough food, and plan to join us on the 5th of May!
