Pennsylvania College Of Technology SOLIDWORKS Users Group
Come join Victaulic’s Engineering Design Department to learn more about the company and how the design team leverages SOLIDWORKS. This session will cover how Victaulic products are designed, along with practical day-to-day SOLIDWORKS tips and tricks.
Two Pennsylvania College of Technology (PCT) Engineering Design alumni will also share their industry experiences and how the program prepared them for their roles.
Identical Presentations will be offered twice during this timeframe:
12:00–1:00 | Lunch and Learn (Fresh Joes Pizza)
3:30–4:30 | Cupcakes and CAD
The session will be hosted in the SOARS Center (Additive Manufacturing Lab) and offered twice, with time for Q&A with the presenters.
Presenters
Bill Collier is a Senior Mechanical Designer and Technical Lead with 8 years of experience specializing in mechanical solutions, casting‑based designs, and high‑quality CAD workflows. He partners across engineering teams to deliver clear, consistent documentation and drive process improvements. Bill earned his associate’s degree in mechanical engineering technology from Lehigh Carbon Community College as well a bachelor’s degree in fine art – digital media from Kutztown University.
Stephen Brodecki is a Mechanical Designer with four years of experience at Victaulic. During those 4 years he has directly supported fluid controls, tools, and the coupling design teams as well as assisting ongoing sustaining efforts. He specializes in developing solutions for mechanical problems alongside his colleagues. He earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering design technology from Pennsylvania College of Technology.
Preston Evey is a Mechanical Designer with 1.5 years of experience at Victaulic. He specializes in mechanical solutions and delivers high-quality CAD models and drawings. During his time at Victaulic, he has directly supported fluid controls along with supporting other groups in need of extra support such as tools and couplings. Preston earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering design technology and associate’s degree in engineering CAD technology both at Pennsylvania College of Technology.
