Designing Injection Molded Plastic Parts with SOLIDWORKS

Aug 14, 12:30 – 2:00 AM (UTC)

Phoenix Metro SOLIDWORKS User Group

Date: August 13

Time: 5:30–7:00 PM

Location: InterLink Engineering

Join us for our next PHX SWUG meeting!

Injection molding is one of the most widely used manufacturing processes for producing plastic parts at scale. Designing with manufacturing in mind can reduce tooling costs, improve part quality, and help products move more efficiently from concept to production.

Join us as we explore how SOLIDWORKS can help you design better injection molded parts from the start.

Dylan Pratt of InterLink Engineering will kick things off with Designing for Injection Molding with SOLIDWORKS, followed by Kali Gonzalez from MLC CAD Systems with Introduction to SOLIDWORKS Plastics Simulation, where you’ll learn how simulation can help identify potential molding issues before production begins.

As always, we’ll have food, raffle prizes, and plenty of time to connect with fellow SOLIDWORKS users in the community.

We can’t wait to see you there!
