SolidWorks Port Said Engineering Iftar

We’re building more than just designs — we’re building a community.
Join us for a unique Ramadan Iftar designed for the engineering spirit: a community night that brings together professional engineers and high-potential students in a format that is not entertainment-only. This event blends light technical content close to SOLIDWORKS with interactive table-based challenges, structured round talks, and a podcast corner that captures real engineering stories.

  • Date: Sunday, 8 March 2026

Why You Should Attend

For Professional Engineers

  • Real value, light format: short “Tech Bites” (8–12 minutes) based on practical SOLIDWORKS-adjacent workflows (DFM, drawings, assemblies).

  • Structured conversation: Industry Firesides are designed for real discussion — not random chatting.

  • High-quality networking: curated attendance to keep it industry-focused.

  • Content spotlight (optional): join a 3–5 minute micro-interview in the Podcast Corner.

For Students

  • Learn the real path to industry through concrete examples — not lecture-style sessions.

  • Join technical mini-challenges, meet mentors, and build strong connections.

The Experience Design (Made for the venue + Ramadan timing)

1) Industry Firesides — Round / Cycle Talks (On dining tables)

A structured round-talk format designed to fit Ramadan energy and venue layout:

  • Students stay at tables; engineers rotate between tables.

  • Each round: 10–12 minutes + 2 quick Q&A questions.

  • Each table receives a Prompt Card to keep the conversation valuable and focused.

2) Technical Entertainment — Table Challenges (Not games only)

Fast technical rounds that feel fun but deliver real value. Examples:

  • Drawing Detective: find 5 drawing mistakes that cost money.

  • DFM Quick Scenarios: choose the manufacturable design option.

  • Assembly Survival: mates strategy + performance tips in real projects.

Zones & Activities

Podcast Corner + Interviews

A quiet corner built for short, high-impact content:

  • 2 chairs + small table + wireless mics

  • 3–5 minute micro-interviews with engineers, team leads, and standout attendees

  • Topics include: SOLIDWORKS in student competitions, real workflows, and career advice

3DS Mosaic Wall (Signature Activity)

A community-built artifact and premium photo moment:

  • Each attendee receives one numbered folded tile

  • Messages are written on the back/inside (front stays clean for photos)

  • Tiles reveal the 3DS mark (not the full logo); the full SOLIDWORKS logo is added as a sticker below

  • Outcome: a reveal moment + a community artifact + a photo spot

Challenge Zone

SOLIDWORKS quick challenges + engineering puzzles + trivia leaderboards.

Activity Zone

Light social games (e.g., UNO/Dobble) designed to drive networking in an easy, effective way.
