SMART User Group Meeting (Milwaukee) - October 2025

Oct 1, 10:00 PM – Oct 2, 12:15 AM (UTC)

SOLIDWORKS Milwaukee Area Resource Team

This will be a Live, In-Person event with food, in-person networking, live SOLIDWORKS presentations, and some door prizes from sponsors.  The meeting will be held at the Firefly Room at the Wauwatosa Public Library.

We will be joined by special guests Greg Bau and Milind Vakhariya from Dassault Systèmes. Greg and Milind will be in house to talk about two distinct topics regarding how we create and manage data through SOLIDWORKS:

  • "Demystifying Data Management: PDM vs. 3DEXPERIENCE for SOLIDWORKS" - A clear, practical look at how both systems support your design workflows.

  • "What's Next: AI + Generative Design" - Preview of emerging tools and cloud capabilities.

We will also be joined by Spencer Riggs from Global Power Components. Spencer will be here to talk about different methods he has used for incorporating modeled graphics into his SOLIDWORKS models, and the implications of those methods on model weight, DFM, and serviceability.

Please RSVP if you plan on attending. RSVP through the SWUGN community page is preferred, but if you'd like to RSVP by email, send a message to SWUG.SMART@gmail.com.

SMART (SOLIDWORKS Milwaukee Area Resource Team) has been Milwaukee's local SOLIDWORKS User Group since 1999.

Join the local user community in an evening of tips, tricks, and insight into the tools that help streamline and accelerate your product development process.
