About the Event

Join us for "AI-Powered Design and the Connected Engineering Team," an engaging hybrid event designed for Engineers, Hardware Developers, and Startup Companies. This session brings together industry experts to explore how artificial intelligence and connected digital tools are transforming the way engineering teams design, collaborate, and deliver products to market.

Whether you are looking to streamline your CAD workflows, reduce costly design errors, or unlock the full potential of modern collaboration platforms, this event delivers practical insights and real-world strategies you can apply immediately. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how emerging technologies integrate with existing tools such as SOLIDWORKS, DraftSight, and PDM systems to drive measurable productivity gains.

Design & Collaboration with 3DExperience

Joe Perera  |  Solutions Consultant, Applications, TriMech

In this presentation, Joe Perera will deliver a high-level overview of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. We’ll look at the platform's key advantages, including customizable dashboards and secure collaborative spaces. We’ll also review how the platform integrates with SOLIDWORKS and DraftSight. As well as having its own built-in apps, such as xDesign for parametric modeling and xShape for freeform design. To round things out, we’ll discuss productivity boosters such as 3DWhiteboard and Collaborative Tasks.

Practical AI for the Modern SolidWorks Designer

Austin Etter  |  AI Software Consultant for CAD/PDM, Bananaz

This session covers practical AI and modern workflows that help designers move faster, catch more issues early, and reduce costly rework. We'll walk through real-world applications, including DFM checks, 3D cost-reduction analysis, intelligent drawing review checklists, asynchronous 2D/3D design reviews, and visual 2d/3d comparison for design change validation.

Walk away with practical techniques that immediately reduce rework and improve design confidence.
