SOLIDWORKS Tips & Tricks: Old Favorites, New Tricks & Hidden Gems

Oct 22, 10:00 PM – Oct 23, 2:38 AM (UTC)

SOLIDWORKS User Group of New York City

Every SOLIDWORKS user has a few favorite techniques they rely on every day, but there are always more tools, shortcuts, and little-known features waiting to be discovered.  SOLIDWORKS Tips & Tricks: Old Favorites, New Tricks & Hidden Gems is a practical, fast-paced session packed with useful ideas you can take back to your desk and start using immediately.

During this session, we will revisit some tried-and-true SOLIDWORKS techniques, explore newer tools and workflows, and uncover hidden gems that make everyday design work faster, easier, and more efficient.  From modeling and editing techniques to automation, AI, and those little SOLIDWORKS tricks that make you wonder why you didn't know about them sooner, there is something here for everyone.

This presentation is designed for mechanical engineers, designers, and SOLIDWORKS users of all experience levels.  Whether you have been using SOLIDWORKS for decades or are just building your toolbox, come ready to learn, steal a few ideas, and share your own.  The goal is simple: fewer clicks, less rework, and getting more things done.

Bring your questions, your favorite tricks, and your curiosity for a live, interactive Q&A!

About the Presenter

Edson Gebo is a Senior Mechanical Engineer, CAD Admin, and a longtime SOLIDWORKS user with over 30 years of experience in mechanical design, engineering, and CAD administration.  Edson has spent his career finding practical ways to make design teams more productive.  He specializes in everything from improving everyday SOLIDWORKS workflows and modeling techniques, to implementing automation, AI, FEA, and emerging technologies.
