I'm pleased to announce that the next meeting of the Sydney SOLIDWORKS User Group is to be held on Wednesday 30th April, 2025.

It's been awhile (and I promise it won't be this long after this meeting) and we have moved venues.
The event is to be held at:
Strathfield Golf Club, 52 Weeroona Road, Strathfield, 2135 6:15pm (for a 6:30pm start)

I'm excited that our own, Wojtek Rogulski - CADtek Design & Drafting fresh from his first 3DEXPERIENCE World will present a few topic & tips that he pick up at World
I'll be joining Wojtek, where I'll be recommending some presentation from World and showing some "highlight" tips & tricks from those presentations

Presentation 2: I'm pleased that another of of members Hardik Trivedi  - OpenTech Designs is going to give us a preview of his new product - SolidWorks Drafting Assistant

Along with the presentations I would like to spend some time at this and future meeting with sometime I'm going to call "Bring us your problems" (prompted by a discussion with Wojtek)  
Whether it be a design issue, a workflow problem, a modelling challenge, a feature in the software, something collectively with can discuss & solve as a group.   You can pre-send me these question/ problems, (and files) or you can raise them on  the night.   It might also be a future discussion or presentation topic.
To go with the above, I have just moved across on my personal computer from SOLIDWORKS desktop to SOLIDWORKS Connected and I will show a few minor things I'm starting to discover.

I'll also update on the new SWUGN Community platform and discuss design challenge for the User Group Logo & Chapter heading

We are also going to give away:  1 year to 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS for Makers. You will have access to industry leading SOLIDWORKS design tools including 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS Professional, 3D Creator, and 3D Sculptor. Although aimed at the "Maker" this is a good opportunity for anyone wanting to have a look at many of the online xProducts!
