I just joined CTSUG online, so I am reading this discussion for the first time.

Did anything come of this idea? It would certainly be interesting to see what they are doing at Texas State and talk about ways we could coordinate efforts.

In my experience, generative design has not been widely embraced within most industries. It has great potential, but most designers haven't seen it in practice much at all. Therefore, they aren't putting it to practical use in their everyday jobs.
