AI Summary

I'm a new user of Solidworks. I have a flat part with some text imprinted on it. I need to create a separate configuration showing this flat part bent along an axis into a curve along its width with a radius of 42.9mm. The part is 65mm wide. I have tried to use the deform command and got nowhere. I tried to use the flex command and it is giving me the complete wrong bending. Can anyone help with some guidance on how to manipulate this part. If someone can reply with an email address I can send screen shots showing what I have and what I want.

Autodesk Inventor had a very simple feature where you insert a centerline on or near a part, and then use the bend command and tell the feature how much to bend the part and Inventor used the line as a bending axis.

Thanks.
