Hi Mr. Brad, we met you a few months ago at a homeschool tour at Altec. My goal is to prompt my child with curiosity and interest in engineering through tools and tinkering in CAD and 3D printing. Is this an appropriate meeting/class and how/do I need to prepare him? We are completely new to this...thank you.
This is a great discussion to get him interested. This will be completely online and will be discussing around the Makers version of SOLIDWORKS and what it can do and how to get it.
I totally concur with Brad's answer! AND, depending upon your child's age, another tool/app tp look into is SOLIDWORKS Apps for Kids. It is a kid-friendly version of the xShape app that we will look at as part of the SOLIDWORKS for Makers offers.
