Hey all and welcome to the SWUGN Winter Edition meeting!NOTE: THIS DATE IS TENTATIVE AT THE MOMENT IT MAY MOVE.Once again we'll make it a relaxing evening at The National Hotel in Richmond, come and order yourself a bar meal, grab a drink and hang out with some like minded crew. We've got heaps of new crew that have recently signed up as members so I'm hoping for a good turn out. It's gonna be cold, but inside we'll be toasty warm.Like last time we'll be supplying some canapes and you can cover your own drinks from the bar.I'm also hoping to secure Alex Kok from SolidWorks to finish off the second half of his AI presentation. I'm also looking to have a rep from Central Innovation to talk about a new product called MaxxLink, which is a BOM management tool but I'll keep you all updated on this.And again, we'll be giving away a Makers edition of SolidWorks to 1 lucky SWUGN meeting attendee! Melbourne SolidWorks User Group Meeting Winter Edition!

Hey all, it's finally time for the 1st SolidWorks User Group meeting for 2025! Let's make some time to spend getting to know each other, networking, and learning from each other, as they say "Iron Sharpens Iron". Often the best way to learn is from your CAD peers.We'll make it a relaxing evening at The National Hotel in Richmond, come and order yourself a bar meal, grab a drink and hanfg out with some like minded crew.We'll be supplying some canapes as well, you'll just need to cover your own drinks from the bar.I'm also hoping to secure Alex Kok from SolidWorks to chat with us about a yet to be deciced topic, I'll keep you all updated on this.The bigest and most exciting news (sorry Alex, it's not you) is SolidWorks are giving away a makers edition to 1 lucky SWUGN meeting attendee! Melbourne SolidWorks User Group Meeting

Hey all, well it's that time again, yep time for a SWUGN meeting / catchup.I've arranged for Alex Kok of SolidWorks to run Part 2 of his AI talk, continuing on from our meeting earlier this year. I'm also looking arranging a talk from Mithilesh Kapre (ex SolidWorks Support Tech) from Cloud CAD Ai. Mithil will talk about Cloud CAD Ai and their CAD automation tools. This will be via Zoom, as Mithil is located in Sydney.I'm moving the location from the Bar in Richmond to a more subdued venue, in the hope to not be battling bar noises!I'll be putting on Pizza and Soft drink for the evening so if you can RSVP as soon as possible that would be great so I can arrange enough food and drink for everyone.As usual we'll have plenty of time for networking and meeting new people.I look forward to seeing you there!
