It's time to KICK START this group and to get active again. SolidWorks User Groups are an important part of the Mechanical Design and Engineering community and it's a place to learn, network, and talk all things SolidWorks!
In order to plan ahead, I'd like to hear back from you regarding the your interest in the group and what you would like to see:
1) Setting a schedule and Frequency of Group meetings: How often are you willing to meet up? Quarterly or every other month? Can you meet up In-person, prefer on-line meet ups, or a combination of both?
2) What day and time works for you? Tuesdays evening? Wednesday evening? Weekend meet up? Weekday webinar?
2) Finding venues: Do you prefer the same meeting place for every meeting? Or do you prefer moving venues for each meeting? Is South Bay preferred, or can you travel to East Bay or Peninsula? If you know of any businesses that may want to showcase their facility and has a meeting space that would be great!
3) Presentation topics: Are you interested in learning more about SolidWorks? Want to learn tips and tricks? Or maybe you are interested in real world applications of SolidWorks? How about a show down SolidWorks vs "the other CAD tool"? Let's hear it.
