I use SOLIDWORKS Visualize to transform my 3D models into realistic images and give my projects a stronger visual identity.
One of my favorite projects is NovaFlex, an accessible prosthetic knee, developed with my students. Visualize helped us present the concept in a realistic and compelling way, making it easier to communicate both its technological innovation and its human impact.
I also use Visualize in education to help students move from a CAD model to a professional product presentation. Materials, textures, lighting, environments, and camera composition allow them to tell the story of a product even before it is manufactured.
My main advice is: don’t focus only on realism, focus on telling a story. A good camera angle, carefully controlled lighting, realistic materials, and the right environment can transform a simple 3D model into a powerful product presentation.
For me, SOLIDWORKS Visualize creates the bridge between design, innovation, and communication.
