I would like to hear, how others are dealing with External IP Design Files in Product ASM or similar?
External Consultant are not using SOLID, but we need to share Files both ways for optimizing the Design (controlling feasibility, Tooling/Features etc.)
What do you receive from IP Designers?
- STEP Files or other?
- Is it on Part Level or Full Product?
How are they handled in the Product ASM?
- do you use surfaces/edges or is it only used as inspiration?
What about Edge Radii on Tooled Edges, do you wait to add them until the "main Design is settled?
